Mica shields are used to protect the liquid level gauges from acidic and corrosive solutions. The most commonly used Mica shields available are Ruby Mica (Mining quality) from Bihar. These are export quality Mica shields with thickness ranging from 3-5 mm. The various sizes which are ready in stock are:

• 340 mm length x 30 mm/ 34 mm width 
• The Mica shields are made of clear transparent material (Aluminosilicate) with high strength and can withstand the constant temperature of 550 degrees and a melting point of approximately 1250 degrees. 
• This Mica Shield is friendly and does not react with other acids/alkaline chemicals, gasses or oils.
